Trailer For Hulu's Latest INTO THE DARK Holiday Horror Film THE CRRENT OCCUPANT

Hulu has released a trailer for its latest entry in its Into The Dark holiday horror film series. This is a year-long series of horror films released monthly and each one focuses on a different holiday. It’s a great concept, but unfortunately, most of the films have been ended up being pretty disappointing.

However, the next movie coming up, which is titled The Current Occupant, actually looks promising. Hopefully, this film actually ends up being a good one! The story centers on a man locked away in a mental asylum and while there, he starts to think that he might actually be the President of the United States. Here’s the synopsis:

Trapped in a mysterious psychiatric ward, a man with no memory comes to believe that he’s the President of the United States and the subject of a diabolical political conspiracy. As the asylum’s soul-crushing forces bear down on him, he fights to preserve his sanity and escape so that he can return to power.

As for what holiday this film represents, I assume that it’s for Independence Day as it’s set to be released in July.

The Current Occupant was directed by Julius Ramsay (The Walking Dead and the Scream TV series) and it stars Barry WatsonSonita HenryMarvin ‘Krondon’ Jones III, Lilli BirdsellKate CobbEzra Buzzington, and Joshua Burge

The script comes from Alston Ramsay, who used to work as a speechwriter in Washington D.C. The Current Occupant arrives on Hulu July 17th.
