Trailer For A College Set Horror Murder Thriller Titled INITIATION
Saban Films has released the thriller for a new slasher horror thriller titled Initiation. The story is set on a college campus where a masked person goes around killing people. You know how these college set horror movies go, but social media plays a big part in the story.
In the film, “During a university’s pledge week, the carefree partying turns deadly serious when a star athlete is found impaled in his dorm. The murder ignites a spree of sinister social-media messages, sweeping the students and police into a race against time to uncover the truth behind the school’s dark secrets…and the horrifying meaning of a recurring symbol: a single exclamation mark.”
The movie seems to have gotten some good reviews, but it doesn’t really look like anything special or unique. Maybe it tells a good story, though. We’ll see.
The movie was directed by John Berardo from a script he wrote with Brian Frager and Lindsay LaVanchy. The movie stars Jon Huertas, Isabella Gomez, Lindsay Lavanchy, Froy Gutierrez, Gattlin Griffith, Patrick Walker, Bart Johnson, Shireen Lai, and Kent Faulcon with Yancy Butler and Lochlyn Munro.
The movie is set to be released on May 7th.
