Trailer for J. Michael Straczynski's BABYLON 5: THE ROAD HOME Animated Movie!

The first trailer has been released for Warner Bros. Animation’s highly anticipated animated film, Babylon 5: The Road Home. The film will continue the story that creator J. Michael Straczynski launched in the 1990s, and it looks like it’s going to tell a thrilling and epic interstellar story! He previously described it as a “raucous, heartfelt, nonstop, a ton of fun through time and space and a love letter to the fans.” I’m excited about this!

In the film: “Travel across the galaxy with John Sheridan as he unexpectedly finds himself transported through multiple timelines and alternate realities in a quest to find his way back home. Along the way he reunites with some familiar faces, while discovering cosmic new revelations about the history, purpose, and meaning of the Universe.”

The voice cast includes returning Babylon 5 cast members Bruce Boxleitner as John Sheridan, Claudia Christian as Susan Ivanova, Peter Jurasik as Londo Mollari, Bill Mumy as Lennier, Tracy Scoggins as Elizabeth Lochley and Patricia Tallman as Lyta Alexander.

The voice cast also includes Paul Guyet as Zathras and Jeffery Sinclair, Anthony Hansen as Michael Garibaldi, Mara Junot as Reporter and Computer Voice, Phil LaMarr as Dr. Stephen Franklin, Piotr Michael as David Sheridan, Andrew Morgado as G’Kar and Rebecca Riedy as Delenn.

Straczynski wrote the film and executive produces. It is directed by Matt Peters (Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons), with Rick Morales serving as supervising producer. Sam Register is the executive producer on the project.

Babylon 5: The Road Home will be available on Digital, 4K UHD and Blu-ray on August 15, 2023.
