Trailer for Jamie Foxx's Netflix Stand-Up Comedy Special Which Addresses Rumors He "Literally Died" and Is a "Clone"
Netflix has released the first trailer for Jamie Foxx’s Netflix comedy special Jamie Foxx: What Happened Was… The actor and returns to the stage to set the record straight in a comedy event that “celebrates resilience, humor, and the power of community; if he can stay funny, he can stay alive.”
Foxx is set to speak about his 2023 hospitalization, and as you’ll see in the trailer, he will address the rumors that he “literally died” or was a “clone”.
Foxx has yet to publicly talk about what really happened when he was rushed to hospital, so it will be interesting to see what he’s willing to reveal during this show.
The special is produced by Done + Dusted and Foxxhole with Hamish Hamilton directing.
The comedy special comes ahead of the Foxx’s action film, Back in Action, which also stars Cameron Diaz, where they play a couple of former CIA spies pulled back into the game.
