Trailer for Jesse Eisenberg and Riley Keough's Bigfoot Movie SASQUATCH SUNSET

The first trailer has been released for Jesse Eisenberg and Riley Keough's upcoming Bigfoot movie Sasquatch Sunset. The movie premiered at The Sundance Film Festival and there was a lot of talk about it, mostly by how bad of a film it was.

I watched the movie out of curiosity, and that’s a couple hours of my life that I’ll never get back. The movie is a curiosity piece, because when people watch this trailer it will spark a curiosity in them that will make them want to see it. But, I will tell you, I did not like this movie at all, and it might be one of the worst films I’ve ever seen.

Sasquatch Sunset is directed by David and Nathan Zellner and offers an extremely unique, absurd, and polarizing cinematic experience. As I said in my review, the movie “stands as one of the most bewildering and purposeless films I've ever witnessed.”

Strangely enough, some people liked the movie! So, there is a chance that some of you out there will be able to connect with the movie in a way that I didn’t.

The description of the film reads: “In the misty forests of North America, a family of Sasquatches—possibly the last of their enigmatic kind— embark on an absurdist, epic, hilarious, and ultimately poignant journey over the course of one year. These shaggy and noble giants fight for survival as they find themselves on a collision course with the ever-changing world around them.”

Bleecker Street will release Sasquatch Sunset in theaters on April 19th, 2024.
