Trailer for Jim Gaffigan's Animated Movie DUCK DUCK GOOSE

I saw this trailer was new, right, and thought, I like Jim Gaffigan. Maybe this will be awesome. It does everything you expect a kids trailer to do. Poop jokes, fart jokes, a goofy but smarmy hero, and some absolutely TERRIBLE puns. 

I worry that I'm just getting too old to get some of these kids movies. Even with some of the voice talent involved, this looks just so- cheesy. I mean it's not, Emoji movie bad, but- that doesn't mean it's good. But I shouldn't judge. I've only seen the trailer. What do you think based on the trailer? Does it look like people are trying anymore in the animation business?
