Trailer For Justin Long and Kate Bosworth's Seductive Dracula-Inspired Horror Thriller HOUSE OF DARKNESS

Saban Films has released a trailer for its dark comedy horror thriller House of Darkness, which stars Justin Long and Kate Bosworth. The film is said to be a “reimagining of Bram Stoker's timeless tale," Dracula.

The film is described as a “seductive thriller,” and in the film, “driving home to her secluded estate after meeting at a local bar, a player out to score thinks his beautiful, mysterious date will be another casual hook-up. While getting acquainted, their flirtation turns playful, sexy, and sinister. Hoping to get lucky, his luck may have just run out.”

The movie was directed by Neil LaBute (The Wicker Man), and it also stars Gia Crovatin and Lucy Walters. The film doesn’t look like anything special, but I like Long and Bosworth, so I’ll give it shot in hopes that it tells an interesting story, but it should be fun. It looks like they took the concept of Promising Young Woman and gave it a vampire twist.

House of Darkness opens in theaters on September 9th, 2022, and arrives On Demand and digital on September 13th, 2022.
