Trailer For Kumail Nanjiani's WELCOME TO CHIPPENDALES - "Living the American Dream Can Become a Nightmare"
Hulu has dropped the first trailer for Kumail Nanjiani’s Welcome To Chippendales series, which tells a wild true crime story involving the rise of male strippers.
The film tells “the outrageous story of Somen ‘Steve’ Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who became the unlikely founder of the world’s greatest male-stripping empire—and let nothing stand in his way in the process.”
The series also stars Murray Bartlett, Juliette Lewis, and Annaleigh Ashford, with recurring guest stars Quentin Plair, Philip Shahbaz, Robin de Jesús, and Andrew Rannells, with Nicola Peltz playing the doomed Playboy Playmate Dorothy Stratten.
The series comes from Pam & Tommy creator Robert Siegel with Rajiv Joseph serving as a writer on the series along with Mehar Sethi. Siegel and Jenni Konner serve as co-showrunners and Matt Shakman directs.
The series is set to premiere on Hulu on November 22nd.
