Trailer for Liam Neeson's 1930s Noir Crime Thriller MARLOWE
Liam Neeson stars in the 1930s set noir crime thriller titled Marlowe, and Open Road Films has released the first trailer! The actually looks like a great flick that tells an interesting and captivating classic noir-style story, but I just love the fact that Neeson has jumped into this genre because he fits into it so well! The movie also has an impressive ensemble cast.
Marlowe is described as “a gripping noir crime thriller set in late 1930’s Los Angeles,” and the story “centers around a street-wise, down on his luck detective; Philip Marlowe (Neeson), who's hired to find the ex-lover of glamorous heiress Clare Cavendish (Diane Kruger), daughter of a famous movie star (Jessica Lange). The disappearance unearths a web of lies, and soon Marlowe is involved in a dangerous, deadly investigation where everyone involved has something to hide.”
The movie was directed by Neil Jordan (Mona Lisa, The Crying Game, Interview with the Vampire, Michael Collins, The End of the Affair, The Good Thief) and it also stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ian Hart, Colm Meaney, Danny Huston, and Alan Cumming.
Open Road will release Marlowe in select US theaters starting February 15th, 2023.
