Trailer for Liev Schreiber's CHUCK, Which is Based on the Boxer Who Inspired ROCKY

Rocky is one of the greatest films of all time with it's incredibly inspiring story and characters. One of the interesting things about Rocky that some of you may not know is that he's based on the true story of Chuck Wepner, an average joe from New Jersey and was a liquor salesman... until he fought Muhammad Ali for almost 15 rounds in 1975!

The film follows Chuck's life from boxing Muhammad Ali to having Stallone talk to him about basing a movie on him to what happens after his fame begins to fade. It sounds like a very meta tale, but if done right could be really great.

With an Allstar cast of Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Elisabeth Moss, Ron Perlman, Jim Gaffigan and Morgan Spector, it looks like it could be a surprise hit. The trailer certainly has moments of comedy and seriousness. It opens in select theaters starting May 5th.
