Trailer For Lionsgate's Inspirational Fallen Soldier Road Trip Film A PLACE IN THE FIELD
Lionsgate has released an emotional trailer for an upcoming movie titled A Place in the Field. This is an international film about veterans that centers around a fallen soldier.
In the film, “Veteran Gio's lonely life is shaken when he receives the ashes of a fallen soldier friend — and a final request to go on a road trip to bury them. Gio and his pal, Herbert, set out for California, but car trouble and Gio's battlefield flashbacks slow their roll… Can Gio find the courage to confront his demons and still fulfill the promise to his long-lost comrade?”
The movie is said to tell a “powerful and profound tale of loss, friendship, perseverance, and the will to carry on dramatizes every vet’s long journey to freedom.”
The movie was directed by Nikki Mejia and it stars Don DiPetta as Scuderi, Khorri Ellis, Kelvin Delgado, Mishel Prada, Ashlee Brian, and Jeremy Luke. This looks like a solid heartfelt film that might be worth checking out. I like stories like this that actually have depth and meaning to them.
Lionsgate will release A Place in the Field in select theaters on November 10th, 2023, and also on VOD on November 18th.
