Trailer for MARVEL 1943: RISE OF HYDRA Previews Captain America and Black Panther Game
There’s a new Marvel video game coming titled Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, and the first trailer for it has arrived! The game looks pretty cool, and it follows Captain America and an earlier version of Black Panther as the story is set during World War II.
The description for the game reads: “In the chaos of war, worlds collide. Skydance New Media and Marvel Games share an original story where an ensemble of four heroes must overcome their differences and form an uneasy alliance to confront their common enemy.”
The game was written and directed by Amy Hennig and was developed using Epic Games’ 3D creation tool Unreal Engine 5.
In the game, players can take on the role of one of four characters which include Azzuri, T’Challa’s grandfather and the WWII-era Black Panther (Khary Payton), Steve Rogers, aka Captain America (Drew Moerlein), Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in occupied Paris (Megalyn Echikunwoke) or Gabriel Jones, a U.S. soldier and member of the Howling Commandos (Marque Richardson).
The score will be composed by Stephen Barton, who also composed music for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Star Trek Picard, and more.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will be released in 2025. Enjoy the trailer below!
