Trailer For MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL Season 5 Sees Midge Looking To Break all The Rules
Prime Video has released a fun full trailer for the fifth and final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and it teases Rachel Brosnahan’s Midge, who is looking to break every single rule there is so that she can have the big life that she dreams of living. This next season is certainly going to take her on quite an entertaining and wild journey. I’m very excited to see how this story ends for her!
The series is set in the late 1950s and “Miriam ‘Midge’ Maisel has everything she has ever wanted -- the perfect husband, two kids and an elegant apartment on New York's Upper West Side. Her seemingly idyllic life takes a surprising turn when she discovers a hidden talent she didn't previously know she had -- stand-up comedy. This revelation changes her life forever as she begins a journey that takes her from her comfortable life on the Upper West Side through the cafes and nightclubs of Greenwich Village as she makes her way through the city's comedy industry on a path that could ultimately lead her to a spot on the ‘Tonight Show’ couch.”
The synopsis for Season 5 reads: “After burning bridges and being cut from tour, Midge Maisel persisted through Season Four, rebuilding her career and reputation. The final moments of the season culminated with Midge leaving Carnegie Hall reinvigorated and ready to weather any blizzard. After an epiphany in front of The Gordon Ford Show‘s snowy billboard, Midge is ready to ‘Go forward’ and fight for her ascent to stardom — equipped with her quick wit and sharp tongue, and nothing else to lose. In the fifth and final season, Midge finds herself closer than ever to the success she’s dreamed of, only to discover that closer than ever is still so far away.”
