Great Trailer For Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's Intense Cop Thriller THE RIP

Netflix has dropped the first trailer for The Rip, and it’s bringing a gritty, high-stakes crime story with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck back on screen together. This looks like a great and tense cop thriller that is going to keep audiences on edge!

The teaser kicks off with Damon and Affleck as Miami police officers stumbling upon a massive $20 million stash in a run-down house occupied by The Flash star Sasha Calle.

What starts as a discovery quickly turns into temptation when Damon’s character quips, "It would be so much easier if we just stole this money." Things spiral when Affleck’s officer picks up a call from a masked voice warning them to clear out before anyone gets killed.

From there, the trailer ratchets up the paranoia, with every glance and every decision pulling Damon and Affleck’s characters further apart.

The cast also includes Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Scott Adkins, and Kyle Chandler. The film is directed by Joe Carnahan, who’s no stranger to sharp-edged thrillers.

The synopsis reads: "Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question – including who they can rely on."

The Rip will make its debut on Netflix on January 16, and based on this first trailer, it’s shaping up to be a dark, gripping ride packed with betrayal, moral dilemmas, and some heavyweight star power.
