Trailer For Mel Gibson and Emile Hirsch's Hurricane Heist Action-Thriller FORCE OF NATURE
Lionsgate has released a trailer for its new action-thriller Force of Nature. The story for the film follows a gang of thieves who plan a big heist during a Category 5 hurricane. Things don’t go as planned when a cop enters the picture trying to evacuate the big apartment building where the heist is planned.
The movie has a sold cast that includes Emile Hirsch, Mel Gibson, Kate Bosworth, David Zayas, Stephanie Cayo, William Catlett, Tyler Jon Olson, Swen Temmel, and Rey Hernandez. This is the synopsis for the film:
An edge-of-your-seat action-thriller that explodes during a violent Category 5 hurricane. As disgraced cop Cardillo (Emile Hirsch) races to evacuate an entire apartment building, he comes across Dr. Troy (Kate Bosworth) and her retired detective father, Ray (Mel Gibson). When a murderous gang of thieves arrives to rob a wealthy tenant, they must join forces to battle the criminals and escape with their lives before the entire city is deep underwater.
The movie was directed by Michael Polish (Twin Falls Idaho, Jackpot, Northfork, The Astronaut Farmer, For Lovers Only, Big Sur) and it looks like it could be a fun flick. The movie will get a direct to VOD release on June 30th.
