Trailer For THE MUTILATOR 2 Which is a Sequel To The 1984 Slasher Movie
It’s been almost 40 years since the 1984 slasher film, The Mutilator, was released, and now we are getting a sequel titled The Mutilator 2, and the trailer for the film was recently shared by Fangoria.
The director of the original film, Buddy Cooper, returned to write and direct the sequel, and it also brings back the actors from the original movie. The film is going to take the meta route as a new wave of murders begins when a remake of the original film begins shooting.
The movie stars Terry Kiser (Friday The 13th Part VII, Weekend At Bernies) and Damian Maffei (The Strangers: Prey At Night, Haunt) star alongside Ruth Martinez and Bill Hitchcock from the original. Chaney Morrow (Wrong Turn) and Eva Hamilton (Ruin Me) will also star.
Alexander Taylor (Scream, Queen! My Nightmare On Elm Street, Isolation, Unknown Dimension: The Story Of Paranormal Activity, Arkansas) has signed on to score the upcoming sequel, and he said in a statement:
“I’m so honored and excited to be a part of The Mutilator franchise. One of the best parts of this is the fact that Buddy Cooper is back! It’s rare for a legacy film to have the original writer and director come back, so you know this is going to be special. Buddy and I already have some cool themes and wild ideas for the score.”
Watch the trailer and let us know if you remember the original film and if you’ll be watching the sequel.
