Trailer For Netflix Comedy GOOD ON PAPER Based on Comedian Iliza Shlesinger's Love Life
A new trailer has been released for comedian Iliza Shlesinger’s new original comedy, Good On Paper, that is headed to Netflix. The movie is loosely based on a story straight out of Shlesinger’s own love life, wherein she meets a guy who seems to check all of her boxes. But when she digs a little deeper, he seems to unravel and not be the person he presented at all.
Veronica Mars actor Ryan Hansen plays the boyfriend, and they are joined in the cast by comedian Margaret Cho (Drop Dead Diva) and actress Rebecca Rittenhouse (Unfriended: Dark Web, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood). Shlesinger wrote the script for the film, and Kimmy Gatewood (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Baby-Sitter’s Club, Girls5eva) is directing in her feature debut.
This looks like it’s going to be a really funny movie. Shlesinger is hilarious, and this premise is great. Check out the trailer below, and watch Good On Paper on Netflix on June 23, 2021.
