Netflix has released a new trailer for the holiday original movie A Merry Little Ex-Mas, starring Alicia Silverstone, Oliver Hudson, Jameela Jamil, Pierson Fodé, Wilder Hudson, Emily Hall, Timothy Innes, and Melissa Joan Hart.

The movie is directed by Steve Carr (Next Friday, Dr. Dolittle 2, Daddy Day Care, Paul Blart: Mall Cop), from a script by Holly Hester (Grace Under Fire, Sabrina the Teenage Witch).

The synopsis reads: “This holiday season, sometimes the messiest Christmas is the most memorable. Recently divorced Kate (Alicia Silverstone) is determined to pull off one last perfect family holiday before selling her beloved home.

“But when her ex-husband Everett (Oliver Hudson) shows up with his younger, picture-perfect new girlfriend, Kate’s holiday dream spirals into chaos.”

This looks like a silly good time- just a lighthearted Christmas movie to throw on while you’re wrapping presents.
