Trailer for Vanessa Hudgens's Netflix Movie THE KNIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS Is So Cheesy You'll Need to Watch It With Crackers

We’ve got a trailer for a Netflix original film for you to enjoy this holiday season called The Knight Before Christmas. The film stars Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical, Rent: Live) and Josh Whitehouse (Poldark). Here’s the film’s synopsis:

A medieval English knight is magically transported to the present day where he falls for a high school science teacher who is disillusioned by love.

Have you ever seen the 2001 movie Kate & Leopold with Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman? Yeah, same deal. Netflix has tuned in to the fact that a huge portion of women love the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, so the streamer has decided to bust some out for their subscribers. It’s the same formula for every movie, so it can’t be that hard.

Pay no attention to the fact that Hudgens plays a school teacher who meets a man who is clearly suffering a mental breakdown and invites said man to live in her home. Just trust that there will be snow and love and hot chocolate and romance.

Check out the trailer below, and if this is your kind of movie, watch The Knight Before Christmas on Netflix on November 21st.

After a sorceress transports medieval knight Sir Cole (Josh Whitehouse) to present-day Ohio during the holiday season, he befriends Brooke (Vanessa Hudgens), a clever and kind science teacher who's been disillusioned by love. Brooke helps Sir Cole navigate the modern world as he tries to discover how to fulfill his mysterious one true quest - the only act that will return him home.
