Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming animated adaptation of the werewolf Wereworld fantasy book series by Curtis Jobling.

The Netflix series is titled Wolf King, and it follows “Drew Ferran, as he comes of age and discovers he’s the last of a long line of Werewolves, and rightful ruler of a land governed by Werelords. Drew must fight to abolish the tyranny of the Lion lords and reclaim the throne.”

This first trailer didn’t really impress me, but maybe this will be something that the kids will enjoy.

Wolf King is directed by Tom Brass for Jellyfish Pictures and produced by Angelo Abela, Tim Compton, Curtis Jobling and Barry Quinn for UK indie Lime Pictures.

Wolf King will be released in 2025.
