There’s a Resident Evil CG animated film coming to Netflix titled Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness and the first teaser trailer has been released for it. I had no idea that they were developing this, so this trailer came as a surprise.

There’s not much information on the film, but it looks like the Resident Evil 2 character Claire Redfield will be featured in the story. The trailer itself is pretty vague, so I’m not sure what to make of it.

The only Netflix channel to release the trailer was the Netflix Portugal twitter account. None of the others have shared the trailer, so this trailer might have been shared by mistake. You’d think Netflix would release more details on the project but, there are none.

It’s looking like the film will be released sometime in 2021. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think.
