Trailer For Netflix's Epic Medieval War Film THE LAST KINGDOM: SEVEN KINGS MUST DIE
Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming epic medieval war film, The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die, which is a spinoff of its hit series The Last Kingdom, which ran for five seasons.
Alexander Dreymon reprises his role in the film as the great warrior Uhtred of Bebbanburg, “who must ride once more across a fractured kingdom with several of the series’ much-loved returning characters, as they battle alongside, and against, new allies and enemies.”
In the story, “Following the death of King Edward, a battle for the crown ensues, as rival heirs and invaders compete for power. And when an alliance comes seeking Uhtred’s help in their plans, Uhtred faces a choice between those he cares for most, and the dream of forming a united England.”
This franchise is based on Bernard Cornwell's “The Saxon Stories” series of novels, and if you enjoyed watching the series, you’re going to like what’s in store for this movie. This is definitely an exciting trailer filled with some awesome and brutal battle sequences, and it going to lead to an epic showdown.
The film also stars Mark Rowley as Finan, Arnas Fedaravicius as Sihtric, Rod Hallet as Constantin, Harry Gilby, Ross Anderson, Ingrid García-Jonsson, James Northcote, and Cavan Clerkin.
The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die was directed by Edward Bazalgette (Poldark, Class, Doctor Who, Versailles, The Witcher, and The Last Kingdom). Netflix will debut the film on April 14th, 2023. Excited?
