Trailer For Netflix's Heavy Drama About Addiction 6 BALLOONS with Dave Franco
Netflix has released the first trailer for a new original movie called 6 Balloons. This looks like a heavy and dark drama about the struggles of drug addiction. The story follows a brother and sister played by Dave Franco and Abbi Jacobson, who are trying to keep their relationship together as the hardships of substance abuse threaten to tear them apart. Here's the synopsis:
Over the course of one night, a woman drives across LA with her heroin addict brother in search of a detox center, with his two-year-old daughter in tow.
As you'll see in the trailer, this simple task doesn't turn out to be an easy one. The movie also stars Tim Matheson (Animal House, The West Wing) and Jane Kaczmarek (Malcolm in the Middle, The Big Bang Theory).
Marja-Lewis Ryan makes her directorial debut with the film from a script that she also wrote. 6 Balloons will be released on Netflix on April 6th, 2018.
