Trailer for Netflix's JURASSIC WORLD: CAMP CRETACEOUS Season 2
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous is getting a second season and Netflix has released a trailer giving us a look at what’s in store as the adventurous story continues.
The first season centered on six teenagers who were chosen for “a once-in-a-lifetime experience at a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar.” That little experience turns into a nightmare when the dinosaurs wreak havoc on the Island. “Each kid realizes their very survival rests on the shoulders of themselves and their fellow campers. Unable to reach the outside world, our six teens will go from strangers to friends to family as they band together to survive the dinosaurs and uncover hidden secrets so deep they threaten the world itself.”
My youngest daughter loved the first season of the series and I’m sure she’s excited for Season 2. I’ve watched a few episodes so far and it’s about what I expected from a Jurassic World animated series for kids.
In Season 2 the campers are still stranded on Isla Nublar and they are struggling “to survive among the wreckage of Jurassic World. As the T.Rex takes over Main Street, forcing the kids deeper into the jungle, the discovery that they may not be alone not only threatens their rescue but may uncover something more sinister.”
The voice cast for the series includes Paul-Mikél Williams as Darius, Jenna Ortega as Brooklynn, and Ryan Potter as Kenji. Additionally, Raini Rodriguez as Sammy, Sean Giambrone as Ben, Kausar Mohammed as Yaz, Jameela Jamil as Roxie, and Glen Powell as Dave.
Scott Kreamer and Lane Lueras are set to serve as both showrunners and executive producers on the series. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, and Colin Trevorrow will also all serve as executive producers.
The full eight episodes of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous season 2 will hit Netflix on January 22, 2021.
