Trailer for Netflix's Newest Dark Comedy SHIMMER LAKE with Rainn Wilson
When dark comedy is done right, it makes for some of the best films. Now Netflix is adding the dark comedy Shimmer Lake to its original movie lineup and it looks pretty good.
Shimmer Lake was directed and written by Oren Uziel, screenwriter of 22 Jump Street and Mortal Kombat, and it stars Rainn Wilson, Wyatt Russell, and Benjamin Walker. Here's the brief synopsis that was released:
Unfolding in reverse time, this darkly comic crime thriller follows a local sheriff hunting three bank robbery suspects, one of whom is his brother.
The movie will be available to stream on June 9th, 2017.
