Trailer for Netflix's Suicide Mystery Series 13 REASONS WHY

Netflix has unleashed a flurry of new trailers today for upcoming original films and TV series that they've produced. All of them look great, and now we have one more to add to the mix. It's called 13 Reasons Why, and it's a suicide mystery drama that actually looks like it could be a solidly good series. The story centers around a series of tapes left behind by a girl who committed suicide. Those tapes list thirteen reasons why she killed herself, and as you'll see in the trailer, there's all kinds of drama that unfolds as the reasons and mysteries behind her death reveal themselves. Here's the synopsis:

Based on the best-selling books by Jay Asher, the Netflix Original Series 13 Reasons Why follows Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) as he returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker—his classmate and crush—who tragically committed suicide two weeks earlier. On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Will Clay be one of them?

13 Reasons Why will be released on Netflix on March 31st.

Why would a dead girl lie? 13 Reasons Why premieres March 31 only on Netflix. Based on the best-selling books by Jay Asher, the Netflix Original Series 13 Reasons Why follows Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) as he returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch.
