Trailer For Netflix's True Crime Doc LONG SHOT Has an Interesting CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM Twist

Netflix has released a trailer for their upcoming true crime documentary called Long Shot. It centers around a man named Juan Catalan who was arrested for a murder he didn't commit. The only way to save his life was to prove that he was one of 56,000 people at a Dodgers Game that night. This is where Larry David comes in and thanks to his HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm, his life was saved.

How, you ask? Remember that episode called "The Car Pool Lane"  where Larry David picks up a hooker to drive in the carpool lane to get to Dodger Stadium faster? They shot part of that episode the night that Catalan said he was at the game. To clear his name investigators had to go through all the B-Roll footage that was shot that night at the game during the time of the crime to find him and clear him.

It's pretty crazy that Curb Your Enthusiasm literally saved a man's life! This documentary tells this fascinating story and I'm curious to hear Larry David's take on the whole thing. the doc will arrive on Netflix on September 29, 2017.
