Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming horror anime film, Mononoke The Movie Chapter 2: Hinezumi (or Fire Rat), which is the second film in the Mononoke trilogy.

This project was originally a spin-off of the 2006 anime series Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales, and Mononoke follows the Medicine Seller from an episode in the anthology series embarking on other adventures dealing with the supernatural.

In the story, The Medicine Seller helps victims of nefarious paranormal entities, and this next story deals with a rivalry among women.

One thing that I loved about this anime is the unique artistic style. It’s such a visually cool looking anime! The movie will also hit Japanese theaters on March 14, 2025.
