Trailer For Nicole Kidman's Prime Video Drama Series EXPATS

Prime Video has shared the first full trailer for Nicole Kidman's upcoming drama series Expats, which was created by Lulu Wang (The Farewell). This looks like a heavy series that follows "the vibrant lives of a close-knit expatriate community: where affluence is celebrated, friendships are intense but knowingly temporary, and personal lives, deaths and marriages are played out publicly—then retold with glee."

Set against the “vibrant and tumultuous tapestry of 2014 Hong Kong, Expats centers on three American women—Margaret (Kidman), Hilary (Sarayu Blue), & Mercy (Ji-young Yoo)—whose lives intersect after a sudden family tragedy. The series interrogates privilege and explores what happens when the line between victimhood and culpability becomes blurred. Brian Tee plays Margaret's husband Clarke, and Jack Huston plays Hilary’s husband David.”

The show looks like it will deliver a beautiful and honest, yet emotional story. It will be released on Prime Video on January 26th, 2024.
