Trailer For Nintendo's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANTS UNLEASHED Video Game
Nintendo has released the trailer for its upcoming video game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed. This gives us our first look at the gameplay and it looks like the kind of game Ninja Turtles fans will enjoy playing.
The game comes from publisher Outright Games and the story of the game takes place after the events of the animated movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
The game also features returning villains including Rocksteady and Leatherhead. There will also be some new characters brought into the story. The character designs for the game were created by Woodrow White, who served as lead character designer on Mutant Mayhem.
The trailer came with the following logline: “Everyone’s favorite crime-fighting brothers are back with action-packed combat, hilarious antics, and a whole lot of pizza! Join Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey on an adventure to fight a malaise spreading through the city.”
The game's campaign can be played solo, or with a friend in two-player co-op. Each character will have their own unique playstyle, and players can unlock new moves through that turtle's skill tree.
Levels will feature "a dynamic night and day cycle," and players will be able to explore the game's New York based locations by grinding on rails with skateboards.
The game also features the familiar voices of Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), Brady Noon (Raphael), Micah Abbey (Donatello) and Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo).
The game will be released on October 18th.
