We’ve got a new trailer for the upcoming drama One of These Days, which tells the true story about an endurance contest that is held to win a truck. At first glance, this may seem like an uninteresting story, but there’s a lot more going on.
The film is set in a small US southern town, and the story centers on the annual ‘Hands On’ endurance contest, which “offers the chance of a lifetime to win a brand-new pickup truck. Each contestant has their own reasons for entering, but the true cost of the competition is higher than it appears.“
That may seem crazy and stupid, but there are people here that that desperately need that truck. But, apparently the whole thing ends in tragedy. The whole thing looks cruel and depressing.
The movie was written and directed by Bastian Günther and it stars Carrie Preston, Joe Cole, Callie Hernandez, Lucy Faust, Devyn A. Tyler, Ritchie Montgomery, Jesse C. Boyd, and Cullen Moss.
One of These Days will be released in UK cinemas starting on April 1st, 2022. As of right now, there's no US release date.
