Trailer For ONE SPOON OF CHOCOLATE Unleashes Shameik Moore in RZA’s Gritty Revenge Action Thriller

This one just came onto my radar and immediately grabbed my attention. A new trailer has dropped for One Spoon of Chocolate, the latest film from RZA (aka Robert Fitzgerald Diggs), and it’s packing serious heat.

Backed by 36 Cinema and Variance, the film made some noise at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2025, and after watching this trailer, it looks like an entertaining action-packed ride.

The new trailer leans hard into the film’s raw energy. There’s a heavy focus on the action, and it looks brutally awesome. Shameik Moore steps into the lead role as Unique, and he’s dishing out some seriously intense takedowns that feel straight out of an old-school revenge playbook.

Quentin Tarantino is backing this one and had this to say in his official intro: "As a filmmaker, RZA really brought home the bacon on an old-school, foot-to-ass, Revenge-a-matic! This picture drives audiences wild wherever it screens. We’ll sell you a whole seat, but you’ll only use the edge of it."

The story centers on Unique, a former military man and ex-con trying to reset his life in a quiet town. Of course, things don’t stay quiet for long. After a run-in with a local gang, he starts connecting dots tied to the disappearance of several young men, including his own cousin.

The deeper he digs, the messier it gets. Soon he’s not just dealing with criminals, but also a sheriff’s department that might be more involved than anyone wants to admit.

Instead of waiting around to become the next victim, Unique and his allies push back. And from what the trailer shows, that pushback is loud, aggressive, and full of consequences.

The cast around Moore includes Blair Underwood, RJ Cyler, Paris Jackson, Emyri Crutchfield, Michael Harney, and Harry Goodwins.

RZA, who both wrote and directed the film, continues carving out his lane as a filmmaker. His past work includes The Man with the Iron Fists, Love Beats Rhymes, and Cut Throat City, and you can see those influences bleeding into this project while still pushing toward something more stripped down and aggressive.

The film is already playing in select theaters, and if you’re into revenge thrillers that don’t hold back, One Spoon of Chocolate looks like it’s ready to deliver.
