Trailer for Phil Lord and Chris Miller's Murder Mystery Comedy THE AFTERPARTY
Apple TV+ is inviting you to one killer party in the new trailer for a new murder mystery comedy series titled The Afterparty. The show comes from Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The LEGO Movie, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse) who co-wrote and directed some of the episodes.
If you enjoy a good murder mystery comedy, this looks like it’s going to be a fun one worth watching. It comes along with a great cast that includes Sam Richardson, Dave Franco, Ben Schwartz, Ilana Glazer, Ike Barinholtz, Zoe Chao, Jamie Demetriou, and Tiffany Haddish as Detective Danner.
The story is set at a high school reunion afterparty, and “each of the eight episodes will feature a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual format and film genre to match the teller’s personality.”
The Afterparty will premiere on Apple TV+ on January 28th, 2022.
