Trailer for Post-Apocalyptic Survival Drama Feature THE RUN
A new trailer has been released for the post-apocalyptic survival drama The Run, starring Callan Mulvey, Charlotte Maggi, Felix Cameron, Taylor Wiese, Tim Phillipps, and Joe Romeo.
The film is written and directed by Stephen de Villiers (Before the Rain, The Burnt Half, Bloom).
The synopsis reads: "In a near dystopian future, a plague has ravaged the land, human reproduction is a thing of the past, the centre cannot hold and anarchy reigns. Everyone’s on the run and there’s no place left to hide. Mac is forced to do delivery runs for an unseen manipulator.
“Aliah, the last mother in Australia, seizes her opportunity and her baby, and runs for sanctuary. Together, Mac and Aliah form an unlikely alliance as they desperately seek to elude a relentless pursuit."
This looks reminiscent of Mad Max, but with a more typical human element. It may just make for an interesting watch.
The movie is currently playing in New Zealand. Stay tuned for a wide release date.
