Trailer for Prime Video RomCom MAINTENANCE REQUIRED Starring Madelaine Petsch and Jacob Scipio
Prime Video has released the trailer for their upcoming original romantic comedy, Maintenance Required, featuring Madelaine Petsch and Jacob Scipio in the lead roles.
They are joined by Madison Bailey, Katy O'Brian, Inanna Sarkis, Matteo Lane, and Jim Gaffigan. The movie is directed by Lacey Uhlemeyer (The Dancer), who co-wrote the screenplay with Roo Berry and Erin Falconer.
The synopsis reads: “Charlie (Petsch), the fiercely independent owner of an all-female mechanic shop, is forced to reevaluate her future when a flashy corporate competitor moves in across the street.
“Seeking comfort, she turns to an anonymous online confidant - unaware she's confiding in Beau, the very rival threatening her business. As sparks fly online & off, the truth threatens to blow everything apart.”
This is just the plot of You’ve Got Mail, but without the great writing and charming leads. Matteo Lane and Jim Gaffigan are fun members of the ensemble who will undoubtedly deliver a few laughs, so maybe they can save this from feeling like just another Hallmark movie.
