Trailer for Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher's Netflix Rom-Com YOUR PLACE OR MINE
Netflix has released a trailer for a charming new romantic comedy titled Your Place or Mine. The movie stars Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher as best friends who swap houses for a week and realize they might have feelings for each other.
The synopsis reads: "Debbie and Peter are best friends and total opposites. She craves routine with her son in LA; he thrives on change in NY. When they swap houses and lives for a week they discover what they think they want might not be what they really need.”
When talking about the project Kutcher said: "Through the years, with every romantic comedy that I thought about doing, I would always ask if Reese was available. I’ve wanted to work with her my entire career. And so, when I was approached about this film, I immediately said, Yes."
The cast for the film also includes Jesse Williams, Zoë Chao, Wesley Kimmel, Griffin Matthews, Shiri Appleby, Rachel Bloom, Vella Lovell, with Tig Notaro and Steve Zahn. This looks like it’ll be a good rom-com!
Your Place or Mine was written and directed by writer Aline Brosh McKenna, who is making her feature directorial debut. She previously directed a few episodes of the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend series. She is best known for writing films such as Three to Tango, Laws of Attraction, The Devil Wears Prada, 27 Dresses, Morning Glory, We Bought a Zoo, Annie, and the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend TV series.
Jason Bateman is also a producer on the project, and Netflix will release Your Place or Mine on February 10th, 2023.
