Trailer For Renny Harlin’s THE STRANGERS: CHAPTER 3, Bringing the Horror Trilogy to a Brutal End

Lionsgate has unleashed the full trailer for The Strangers: Chapter 3, setting the stage for the final chapter in director Renny Harlin’s rebooted take on the masked killers franchise. This new film closes out the story that began with The Strangers: Chapter 1 in 2024 and continued through Chapter 2 earlier this year.

All the films were shot back to back as part of an ambitious trilogy plan. Unfortunatley, the first two films that were released, weren’t that good.

The trailer sells the endgame with the ominous tease, “See how it ends.” The surviving characters are pushed back into danger as the masked strangers return, more relentless and more unsettling than before.

Secrets begin to surface, alliances feel shaky, and the line between what’s real and what’s deadly starts to blur. Lionsgate promises the finale delivers a “full-circle reckoning of survival and revenge.”

At the center of the chaos is Maya, played by Madelaine Petsch, who faces the killers one last time. The film also stars Gabriel Basso, Ema Horvath, Pablo Sandstrom, and Richard Brake, filling out a cast that’s spent the last two films running, fighting, and barely holding on.

It looks like Chapter 3 seems to twist the familiar formula, hinting at questions of identity and motive, though whether it all lands cleanly is still very much up in the air.

Whether this finale sticks the landing or stumbles at the finish line remains to be seen, but this is meant to be the end of the road for this version of The Strangers, tying today's story back into the franchise’s core themes of fear and survival.

Lionsgate will bring The Strangers: Chapter 3 to theaters nationwide starting February 6th, 2026.
