As promised, the first full trailer for Resident Evil: Welcome To Raccoon City has arrived, and as a longtime Resident Evil fan, I’m happy with what I’m seeing! This film is definitely going to be more faithful to the games than the previous films have, as it adapts elements from the first two games in the franchise.

The movie was directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down, The Strangers: Prey at Night), and it looks like it will deliver the film adaptation that fans like myself have been waiting for.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City takes place on a fateful night in Raccoon City in 1998, “once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a dying Midwestern town. The company’s exodus left the city a wasteland…with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, a group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night.

The cast includes Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper, and Avan Jogia, with Donal Logue, and Neal McDonough.

The movie is supposed to hit theaters on November 24th, 2021. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
