Trailer For Julie Delpy and Richard Armitage's MY ZOE is a Heartbreaking Family Drama with a Sci-Fi Twist
A trailer has been released for an interesting-looking sci-fi dystopian drama titled My Zoe, which centers around a heartbreaking family tragedy.
The movie was directed by actress/director Julie Delpy (2 Days in Paris, The Countess, Skylab, 2 Days in New York,), who also stars in the film alongside Richard Armitage, Gemma Arterton, Daniel Brühl, and Lindsay Duncan.
The film is described as being “one of the most emotionally-engaging film of the year” and this is the synopsis that was shared:
Isabelle (Julie Delpy) is a divorcee recovering from a toxic marriage but still forced into contact with her ex (Richard Armitage) because they are co-parenting their daughter Zoe. But when tragedy strikes this fractured family, Isabelle - a top-level scientist - takes matters into her own hands in an unexpected and shocking way.
You’ll get a better idea of what is going on when you watch the trailer. I’m intrigued by the story and interested in seeing how it plays out. My Zoe will be released direct-to-VOD in the UK starting on October 5th.
