Netflix has released the first trailer for writer and director Richard Linklater's upcoming film Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood. I enjoy Linklater’s films, and this one looks like it tells a charming story.

In the film, “a man narrates stories of his life as a 10-year-old boy in 1969 Houston, weaving tales of nostalgia with a fantastical account of a journey to the moon.”

This is a coming-of-age story that’s Inspired by Linklater's own life. The film is said to take “you to the moon and back in this story about growing up in the 1960s in Houston, TX.”

The movie also has a great cast that includes Glen Powell, Zachary Levi, and Jack Black. Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood will be released on April 1st. Enjoy the trailer!
