Trailer For Ron Perlman's Modern Day Western Comedy THE ESCAPE OF PRISONER 614
Lionsgate has released the first trailer for Saban Film's modern-day western offbeat comedy The Escape of Prisoner 614. The story centers on two small-town Sheriff's deputies played by Martin Starr and Jake McDorman who catch an escaped prisoner (George Sample III) that they believe was wrongly convicted. The movie also stars Ron Perlman as the sheriff, who is tracking them down to make sure the convict is taken in. This is the synopsis:
Ron Perlman is electrifying as a corrupt and cold-blooded sheriff in this contemporary western that delivers a double-barreled blast of action. After two deputy sheriffs lose their jobs because of poor arrest records, they purse an escaped convict to try and win back their badges. But nabbing the convict won't be half as dangerous as facing the ruthless sheriff who is tracking their every move.
The film comes from first-time director Zach Golden and it looks like it could be a fun film. I like the cast and I like what I'm seeing in this trailer, so I'll give it a shot. Check it out for yourself and tell us what you think. The movie is set to be released on April 27th.
