Shudder has unwrapped a new trailer for another holiday-themed horror movie titled The Sacrifice Game. It’s a satanic panic Christmas movie about a satanic cult that shows up at a boarding school during the holidays to terrorize and murder.

The synopsis reads: “The Blackvale School for Girls, 1971. It’s bad enough that students Samantha (Madison Baines) and Clara (Georgia Acken) can’t go home for the holidays, but things take a deadly turn when a gang of cult killers arrives at their doorstep—just in time for Christmas.”

The movie stars Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Olivia Scott Welch (Fear Street Trilogy), Gus Kenworthy (80 for Brady), Madison Baines (1UP), Derek Johns (Moonfall), Laurent Pitre (The Fading), Chloë Levine, and Georgia Acken star in The Sacrifice Game. The movie was directed by Jenn Wexler (The Ranger) from a script she co-wrote with Sean Redlitz.

The Sacrifice Game will be released on December 8, 2023 on Shudder.
