Trailer for Six New ALIEN Universe Short Films Being Released for the 40th Anniversary
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Alien franchise, 20th Century Fox has partnered up with Tongal to give fans the opportunity to create their own Alien Universe short films.
Out of 550 entries, six filmmakers were chosen to bring their Alien-inspired stories to life. Today we have a trailer for you to watch that offers you a sneak peek at what we can expect from the short films!
“From terrifying escapes, to Facehuggers and Xenomorphs, these captivating shorts brings forth an exciting new narrative for fans while paying homage to the original film.”
The shorts are titled Alone, Containment, Harvest, Night Shift, Ore and Specimen. I’ve included some additional details on these short films below the trailer.
A new short will be released every Friday through IGN, beginning March 29th. The shorts look like they could be pretty cool!
