Trailer for Super Scary Peacock Kids Series FRIGHT KREWE From Eli Roth and James Frey
Peacock has released a trailer for their upcoming kids thriller series, Fright Krewe, which is giving off a Scooby Doo meets Stranger Things vibe. The concept comes from Eli Roth and writer James Frey, and the series is described as one of the spookiest animated series created by DreamWorks so far. The series features the voices of Sydney Mikayla, Tim Johnson Jr., Grace Lu, Chester Rushing, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, Jacques Colimon, and Vanessa Hudgens.
The series is created by Roth and Frey, who co-executive produced, with Frey writing the script alongside Scott Damian.
The show’s synopsis reads:
An ancient prophecy and a Voodoo Queen put misfit teens in charge of saving New Orleans from the biggest demonic threat it’s faced in almost two centuries! The team is catapulted into learning about the town’s biggest secret - that vampires, rougarous, ghosts, monsters and demons are in fact very real. But, honestly? "Saving the world" might be easier than becoming friends.
Peacock will debut the Fright Krewe streaming on both Hulu and Peacock starting on October 2nd. Check out the trailer below, and let us know what you think.
