Trailer for the Action Thriller FUZE Teases a High-Risk Heist Amid a WWII Bomb Scare
Sky TV has unleashed the official trailer for Fuze, a UK action thriller directed by David Mackenzie, the filmmaker behind Starred Up, Hell or High Water, and Outlaw King. The film blends a ticking-clock disaster scenario with a high-risk jewel heist set right in the heart of London.
The setup kicks off with a nightmare discovery. An unexploded World War II bomb is found beneath a busy construction site in central London, forcing the military and police into an immediate mass evacuation. Streets clear, residents panic, and the city locks down as time runs out. That chaos becomes the perfect cover for something much more calculated.
While bomb disposal expert Will, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, leads a military team racing to defuse the threat, another operation is unfolding underground. Karalis, a diamond expert portrayed by Theo James, is hiding out with his crew in a basement squarely inside the evacuation zone.
With emergency services overwhelmed and the clock counting down, the group makes their move on an audacious jewel heist, using the bomb scare as the ultimate distraction.
The cast also includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sam Worthington, Elham Ehsas, and Honor Swinton Byrne. The screenplay comes from Ben Hopkins, whose previous work includes Marionette and Inside.
All the ingredients for a solid thriller are here, and Sky TV will release Fuze in UK cinemas starting April 3rd, 2026. There’s still no US release date locked in.
