Trailer For The Amazon Series ABSENTIA About a Missing FBI Who is Found With No Memory of What Happened

Amazon has released the first trailer for an intense new series that they are producing called Absentia. This looks like it will be a great series and if you're a fan of Castle, you'll be happy to see that the series stars Stana Katic. The series tells the story of a missing FBI agent who is found after six years and she can't remember anything that had happened to her. Obviously, the answers to the mystery will unravel over the course of the story. Here's the synopsis:

While hunting one of Boston’s most notorious serial killers, FBI agent Emily Byrne (Stana Katic) disappears without a trace and is declared dead. Six years later, she is found in a cabin in the woods, barely alive, with no memory of what happened to her while she was in captivity. Returning home to learn that her husband (Patrick Heusinger) has remarried and her son is being raised by another woman, Emily soon finds herself implicated in a new series of murders.

As you'll see in the trailer, the series has a very cinematic feel to it, which I thought was great. I don't know if you watch a lot of shows on Amazon, but most of them are great quality shows that are worth checking out. One of the reasons why I subscribed to Amazon Prime is because the original content is pretty impressive.

Absentia is set to premiere on February 2nd on Amazon Prime Video.
