Trailer for the BAD BOYS Spinoff Series L.A.'S FINEST with Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union

The first trailer has dropped for the upcoming series L.A.’s Finest, which is a spinoff of the Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay action film franchise, Bad Boys.

The series stars Gabrielle Union, who reprises her role from the film franchise, Syd Burnett, and then there’s Jessica Alba taking on the role of Detective Nancy McKenna. This is a pretty great cast, and it looks like it could be an enjoyable series. Here’s the synopsis:

L.A.'s Finest follows Syd Burnett (Gabrielle Union), last seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel, who has seemingly left her complicated past behind to become an LAPD detective. Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba), a working mom with an equally complex history, Syd is forced to confront how her unapologetic lifestyle may be masking a greater personal secret. Taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles while skirting the rules, and speed limits, Syd and Nancy become a force to be reckoned with – on the streets, and in each other’s lives.

The series is a Spectrum Original, and the first three installments of the 13-episode series will be exclusively available to Spectrum video subscribers free On Demand (and without ads) on May 13th, after which new episodes will release every Monday until the finale. Spectrum video is fa ree service and it will launch with L.A.’s Finest.
