Trailer for the Dark Chinese Kidnapping Crime Thriller OCTOPUS WITH BROKEN ARMS
Here’s a trailer for the Chinese crime thriller titled Octopus with Broken Arms, and it looks like a dark and intense movie.
In the film, “Coinciding with a local holiday celebration, wealthy businessman Zheng Bingrui invites his daughter Tingting's teacher Li Huiping and a group of classmates' parents to a party at his home.
“However, Tingting is suddenly kidnapped. Officer Zhang Jingxian leads the team investigating the case. The kidnappers make a dangerous threat to Tingting, requiring Zheng and Li to meet a huge ransom demand.
“Along the way, the two discover hidden secrets behind the kidnapping case.”
The movie is directed by Jacky Gan and it was originally titled Wu Sha 3, so it's the third in a series of crime films about crime, vengeance, and child trafficking.
The movie stars Chen Sicheng, Jacky Gan, Xiao Yang, Tong Liya, and Duan Yihong. The film was released this past weekend.
