Trailer for the Coal Mine Monster Movie THE DEVIL BELOW Starring Will Patton
Vertical Entertainment has released a trailer for a gritty and nightmarish new horror thriller The Devil Below. I loved the concept for the film as it deals with the terrifying monster that dwells in an old coal mine.
In the film, “There is an abandoned place nestled deep in Appalachian country where underground coal mines have been ablaze for decades. When a team of researchers try to find out how the fires started, they discover something much more startling than the mystery that sent them there: they're not alone.”
My brothers and I have spent a lot of time exploring old coal mine towns and exploring old mines. We’ve come across some crazy stuff on our little adventures, but luckily we’ve never seen a monster! I’m fascinated with this kind of stuff and the supernatural stories that I’ve heard involving old mines. So, I’m pretty stoked about watching this movie!
The comes from filmmaker / VFX supervisor Brad Parker (Chernobyl Diaries) and the movie stars Will Patton, Alicia Sanz, Adan Canto, Zach Avery, Chinaza Uche, Jesse Latourette, and Jonathan Sadowski.
The Devil Below will be released in select theaters and on VOD starting March 5th, 2021.
