Trailer For The COLLATERAL-Like Action Thriller ONE NIGHT IN BANGKOK
If you enjoyed Michael Mann and Tom Cruise’s Collateral, I’ve got a trailer here for an action-thriller coming from Lionsgate that you might enjoy. The film is titled One Night in Bangkok and it stars Mark Dacascos, who is known for his work on Brotherhood of the Wolf, John Wick: Chapter 3, Wu Assassins, The Iron Chef, and Hawaii 5-0.
The story follows an assassin who hires a rideshare driver to drive him around town to kill his targets. While it’s very similar to Collateral, it still looks like a movie that might be worth checking out. The movie was directed by Wych Kaosayananda and last year they made a movie with Dacasco titled The Driver.
Here’s the official synopsis for One Night in Bangkok:
A hitman named Kai flies into Bangkok, gets a gun, and orders a cab. He offers a professional female driver big money to be his all-night driver. But when she realizes Kai is committing brutal murders at each stop, it’s too late to walk away. Meanwhile, an offbeat police detective (Kane Kosugi, Tekken: Kazuya’s Revenge) races to decode the string of slayings before more blood is spilled. This chilling action-thriller—a homage to Collateral, with a shocking twist—stars Mark Dacascos (John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum).
One Night in Bangkok arrives on DVD and Digital on August 25, 2020.
